Secret Santa 2016: Sign Up [CLOSED]

It's nearing that time of year again; Christmas is quickly approaching, and it would be great to have another (our third!) Secret Santa this year to celebrate! It would be a fun way to spread the love of the Holiday season, as well as the awesome Sonic franchise!

HOW THIS WORKS:
• First off, you'll leave a comment below, including favorite (where applicable) up to: 3 official characters, 3 of your own fan characters, and 1 couple (official characters only).
  
  • You do not need to list a couple if you do not prefer one.
• This gives the person doing your gift some variety to choose from. Your gift only needs to include one of the listed characters (unless it's a couple.)
• If you comment below saying you'd like to join, you HAVE to participate. If you duck out, you're shorting someone out of their gift. Shame on you!
• Once the sign-up deadline is reached, everyone will be paired up with someone else randomly. You will then be noted by the group as to who you will be doing your gift for.
• You will then make your gift for that person. You can upload it before the exchange, but you CANNOT say who it is for. Or, you can upload it to your sta.sh.
• Once you have your present ready, you will note the group your gift so that we know that you have finished it.
• Then, on the designated exchange day, you can properly upload your gift and reveal it to the recipient

Your comment should look something like this (just picked generic things for the example):

Favorite Official Characters: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles
Favorite Couple: Sonic x Amy
Fan Character: Needles the Hedgehog (insert reference link here)

(Be sure to include a link or thumbnail of your fan character if you list one! It will NOT COUNT if you don't!)

RULES:
• Has to follow the group's rules, found on the group's Home page to the right
• The artwork can be Holiday-themed, but doesn't have to be.
• New artworks only: should be made for the exchange and have been submitted after the start date; no previously uploaded works are allowed.
• Can be any skill level or medium, but must show that effort put into it; NO line arts, sketches, etc. Try your very best!
• Must be an original artwork, NO bases, traces, or recolors!
• Must be in color and shaded to an extent (full-shaded if in graphite, etc.) This is a gift exchange, so it should be of good quality.
• Literary works must be at least 700 words (Check HERE to see how long 700 words is). Keep the characters "in character"!
• Anyone can enter, but you must be a member of the group.
• Has to include the group icon in the description of the entrant's artwork, and say that it is for this Secret Santa. To put the name in the description, simply type :icontrueblueinstitute:
• If you fail to follow these rules, your submission will be rejected!
• Sad that this has to be said, but: NO griping or complaining if you get an artist that you don't want; this happened last year and made it very unpleasant to deal with. If you have a real reason to dislike the person that you are drawing for or get your gift from, please note us! If you act ungrateful or rude for petty or shallow reasons, you will be banned from future exchanges.

SIGN-UP DEADLINE:
Sign-up will be closed November 27^th, 2016 at 8:00 PM EST. Check HERE for the current Eastern Standard Time.
You will be noted with the details of the person you are making your gift for sometime within 48 hours.
That gives about two weeks to sign-up. We are aiming to have the gift exchange from Christmas Eve to New Year's.

NOTE: If you have to cancel your participation, PLEASE give us enough warning so that we can get someone else to do it instead.
Also, if you'd be willing to do another gift (just in case someone fails to do so), please let us know!
