“Woah woah woah!” Vector exclaimed, taken aback by the revelation. “Slow down! That’s quite the revelation!” “Assuming you are correct, of course.” Espio added. “We knew something wasn’t right. Learning that there had been a murder, well, we put two and two together.” The rabbit of the group explained. “Okay, okay…” Vector waved his hands, as if trying to process this information. “Let’s just start at the beginning…” “That’s… fair.” The butterfly replied. “Let’s start by introducing ourselves. I am Agent Lilo, of the Spectre squad. These are some of my teammates.” “Agent Libby.” The rabbit girl introduced herself. “Agent Leo.” Added the lemming. “Agent Buck” the young bear concluded. “Pleased to meet ya!” Charmy said cheerfully. “Some of your teammates?” Vector realised. “Are there more of you?” “Two.” Libby replied. “Agents Kim and Axos.” “Assuming by the fact you four have told us you believe a member of your squad murdered the victim, you believe it to be either Kim or

Whilst the Chaotix were not unused to globe trotting during their adventures, this was pushing it somewhat. For now they found themselves in G.U.N’s HQ in Central City, after the soldiers that arrested them had shoved all 5 of them into a transport vessel. On the bright side, Vector hadn’t needed to pay anyone this time. It admittedly wasn’t much of a bright side. After all, they were locked up in a high security holding cell standing accused of treason. Not the most enviable of positions to be in. “I knew someone was following us…” Espio had muttered to himself multiple times ever since the arrest, which was getting a little tiresome to the others at this point. “Yeah, yeah, we know.” Vector grumbled. “Give it a rest, buddy.” Camilla was quietly sitting in a corner of the cell, quietly suffering a crisis of belief. For the last few years, she had been convinced that the Eggman Empire was a force for good, a means to free the oppressed people of the world, to unite under a

It wouldn’t be until the next morning that the shuttle would be ready to take the Chaotix back out of enemy territory, so they spent the last hours of the day trying to find any clue they might have missed, chasing up interviews with follow up questions, anything they may have overlooked that could prevent them going on a wild goose chase. But there was nothing. They followed the detective rule book as best they could, but nothing of use eventuated. It somewhat made them feel a bit like frauds. They had been hired to solve this case and the fact they could find so little did make them feel a bit self conscious. At this point, finding Sebastian’s son was the only real lead they could come up with. At least until the spy devices had been analysed properly. Learning who manufactured them may point them in the right direction. The Chaotix returned to their accommodation late that night, having exhausted everything they could think of. When morning came, the trio were sleepily escorted

The quarters the Chaotix had been assigned were very similar to the ones that had belonged to the victim. A clean, simple, reasonably well equipped residence. It was slightly larger than the one belonging to the late Sebastian, which made sense, as Sebastian lived on his own, while there were three chaotix. After looking around the unit, getting aquatinted with its various features, a guard arrived with their provided meals for the evening. It wasn’t anything too special, but it was far from inedible either. Nothing that you would rave about, but it was satisfying. “So, what’s the plan boss?” Espio asked as he wiped off the remnants of the sauce that had decorated tonight’s dinner. “Well, I think it’s a bit late to do anything else today.” Vector mused. He reached over to a piece of paper that had been left on a table, containing a list of base personnel that they might wish to interview. “Tomorrow we’ll get on with interviewing the people on this list.” “That’s a big list…”

The shuttle landed within a large construction facility located on the outskirts of a sizeable Tralian settlement called Derwan. The facility was large, even containing residential zones for staff who didn’t have housing in the city beyond its walls. There were some factory buildings, with any number of constructive works taking place within, as well as open areas where larger items were being put together. The only thing giving away the fact that it was an Eggman facility was the fact his face inspired logo was plastered all over it. Apart from that, there wasn’t anything overly notable about it. The shuttle door hissed open with the sound of hydraulics, the armed soldiers disembarking first, taking up positions either side of the hatchway. The Chaotix followed quickly after, with Camilla bringing up the rear. Vector noted with some level of amusement how despite being in enemy territory and completely unarmed, it was the ones with guns who seemed to be the most nervous. Of

The Chaotix stared at their unexpected visitors, taken aback by their sudden appearance in their less than welcoming office/shack. Vector growled at the pair of Eggmans henchbots, who shrank back in fear as he bared down on them. “Work with the Eggman empire?!” The crocodile snarled, his sharp teeth reflecting the light from the robotic duos lighting systems. “Are ya nuts?!” “We should take them captive Vector…” Espio announced, his face locked into a frown. “They are close associates of Eggman himself… we could land a major blow to the Empire!” “Yeah!” Charmy cheered excitedly. “We can bust them up right now!” “Please don’t hurt us!” Orbot pleaded, throwing his hands up to cover his face. “Yeah!” Cubot added. “Besides, the boss only sent us because he doesn’t care if we come back or not.” Charmy’s face fell, the prospect of bustin’ up some bots cruelly taken from him. “So, yer expendable.” Vector folded his arms, unimpressed. “Still, Eggmans got some nerve, asking for our

Sonic Knowbians: Knowbians on Sodor (Story 4)
MEDICAL EMERGENCY Things were not improving for the Knowbians. The mystery ailment they were suffering from had gotten much worse on the ride into the main station from “the little western”. Maurice was so stiff, he needed the support of his friends to walk. And unfortunately, the others were also starting to seize up. Each step was becoming more and more of an effort. Each joint of the body felt like an unoiled hinge of an ancient door that hadn’t been opened since the prehistoric era. All the Knowbians were suffering from these symptoms in one way or another. Except for Sarah. She had been keeping herself covered by her disguise, trying desperately to not draw attention to herself. “Wha… what is happening to us?” Miles managed to say, feeling as if the weight of one of the engines was weighing upon his shoulders. “I hate to say it…” Maurice spoke wearily, “but there’s only one… answer.” Exhausted from that sentence, he pointed weakly to his wrist. “The perception

[ This is also helped with ChatGPT due to me not being a good writer BUT! I gave most of the ideas instead of letting ChatGPT do it all. Thank and enjoy this tale.] In the heart of Dr. Eggman's fortress, amidst the hum of machinery and the flickering of fluorescent lights, a strange and powerful fusion was taking place. Sally Acorn and Amy Rose stood side by side, their eyes locked with determination, unaware of the malevolence that loomed over them. Dr. Eggman, with his wicked grin, reveled in his plan to create the ultimate weapon – Amally Rocorn. As the fusion process began, a surge of energy enveloped the two girls. They screamed out in pain and fear as their bodies started to meld together. Sparks flew, and a blinding light consumed the room, signaling the completion of the fusion. Sonic Knowbians - The Advisor (Part 3)
It was dark when Moe returned to his apartment above his office. That nagging feeling that he had gained when he first saw Zartin was still there. It refused to go away, and it also refused to elaborate on what it was pestering Moe about. So, for the time being, Moe decided to ignore it, and enjoy some dinner. The No Zone was a very advanced society, but compared to Knowbius it was still quite a ways behind. That meant Moe couldn’t rely on replicators to produce his meals like he could at home. And he was feeling too tired to attempt making anything himself (not that he was much of a cook anyway). So, he retrieved a frozen meal from the freezer, and stood waiting in front of the microwave as it warmed up his meal. It was a bit tedious, but Moe had to admit, he appreciated the retro charm of it all. And frozen dinners here in the No Zone were of surprisingly high standards. Dinner ready, he sat at his small kitchen table and began to ponder recent events as he ate. He chewed over
